The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 came into force on 1st October 2006 and repeals and revokes two pieces of fire legislation:
- The Fire Precautions Act 1971
- The Fire Precautions (workplace) Regulations 1997
Fire Safety training relevant to your workplace can be provided - this may range from a 1 hour - 3 hour session.
Fire Awareness Course
Duration 1.5 hours
Course objectives:
- To describe the causes of fire
- To understand the types of fire
- To discuss the safe and appropriate use of fire extinguishers
- To explore your role during fire evacuation
