1 Day Emergency First Aid at Work
The Emergency First Aid at Work is a one day course that is regulated by the HSE.
Those who attend will be able to act as an emergency first aider in the workplace.
Maximum of 12 delegates
This course has 6 hours of teaching included (this can be a split into 2 x 3 hour sessions for your convenience).
Upon completion the candidate will receive a HSE recognised certificate which is valid for three years. (HSE strongly recommend an annual refresher for this course).
Those that attend will acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to deal with first aid emergencies in the workplace as set out in the Health and Safety (First Aid) at Work Regulations 1981.

3 Day First Aid at Work
Maximum of 12 delegates
This is a 3 day course which has 18 hours of teaching included. By arrangement this course can be run on non consecutive days i.e. one day a week for 3 weeks.
Upon completion the candidate will receive a HSE recognised certificate which is valid for three years.
Before their certificates expire, first-aiders will need to undertake a two-day FAW re qualification course to obtain another three-year certificate.
The HSE strongly recommend that individuals who hold this certificate undertake an annual 3 hour refresher. This can be completed as an online course. Please see On Line Training for details

This course is run over two-days and allows for re-certification of First Aid at Work qualified staff. By arrangement the course can be run on non-consecutive days, for example - one day a week over two weeks.
The criteria re the same as for the intial three-day course.
Please note that candidates attending this course must be in possession of a valid (not out of date by ore than 28 days) First Aid at Work certificate.

Family First Aid Workshop
A recent survey found that a staggering 8 out of 10 parents don't have the necessary level of first aid skill. Yet it is estimated 2 out of 5 parents will find themselves in an emergency first aid situation at some point.
By attending one of our workshops you will learn the skills and gain confidence to deal with emergencies that can crop up within a family environment. Our workshops are designed to cover typical family medical emergencies whether the person affected is baby, child, adult or older person. This workshop is for parents, expectant parents, grandparents and guardians. It can be run at various times of the day to suit you. Mornings after the school run, evenings, weekends and can even be run in the comfort of your own home or meeting place i.e. mother and toddler groups

AED- Automated External Defibrillation
Automated External Defibrillation (AED) is well established as the only effective therapy for cardiac arrest.
The scientific evidence to support early defibrillation is overwhelming. The single most determinant of survival being the delay from collapse to delivery of the first shock. The chances of successful defibrillation decline at a rate of 7-10% with each minute. Basic life support may help to sustain a shockable rhythm but is not a definitive treatment.
We offer a comprehensive Automated External Defibrillation (AED) programme based on the necessary theory, backed up with lots of practical sessions.
The course is run over half a day with 3 hours classroom teaching
